Duckie the Dog needs a home
STATS:
Female, Chi mix, 2-3 years, 8 lbs. Special Needs (Duckie wears a diaper inside which actually helps her mobility and balance.)
TEMPERAMENT:
Friendly!
Loving!
Outgoing!
SKILLS:
Good with dogs.
Good with cats.
Good with children.
MORE ABOUT ME:
She loves to play (indoor) fetch. She can play for hours. Indoors because she stays more focused on using her legs when she's on carpet :)
ONE LAST THING:
Duckie was left at Sun Valley Animal Hospital in Concord unable to use her back legs and she was timid and unsure. We didn't know what happened to her. Through therapy, thanks to the combined efforts of the ladies at Sun Valley Animal hospital and the crew over at Veterinary Healing & Advanced Imaging in Pleasant Hill, CA and the love and patience from Duckie's foster, she started using her legs and is now able to run around! It's not a perfect "run", and she still has special needs (wears a diaper inside), but her progress has been amazing!
We can't wait to see her continued progress and find her a forever home of her own! She lives with kids and other animals and loves to play. Help us continue to make her life story amazing by networking to help us find her home.
